In partnership with the EU NRRP Digital Divide grant, our school has aimed to improve the ICT skills of students through the use of digital portfolios in a digitally rich environment. Using our schools digital strategy we identified a need to invest in student and staff infrastructure and purchased new laptops from PFH Technology and a new smart board from Duo Tone. The students and teachers have been delighted with these new investments and are already putting them to good use.
Through the use of this funding it has now been possible to supply high spec laptops to each student in our school, which are stored in dedicated laptop charging trollies. Smart screen displays to allow students to engage with content on the board provided by the teacher while also using their devices.
